Jesmond Accommodation is a member of several national bodies, the National Landlords Association being the major one. We worked very closely with Newcastle City Council and are very proud of the fact that we were the first landlords in Newcastle to be both personally licensed as fit to be landlords and also the first landlords to have all of our properties in both Jesmond and Sandyford to be licensed under the new Housing Act.
All of our business is conducted in accordance with highest professional standards required by our professional bodies and exceed the latest legislation and industry requirements. From starting up both our student and professional rental business, we have always maintained and renovated our properties in both Jesmond and Sandyford to higher standards than were legally required.
Health and safety is very prominent in our business from the first meeting with prospective tenants and right throughout their tenancies. Safety, security and comfort are paramount for both our professional and student tenants.
